Research Activities

 

Research of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering covers a wide range of topics in electrical engineering, electronics, telecommunications and computers.

Theoretical and experimental research is carried out both by the research centers, and of the individual research clusters, in collaboration with colleagues at other research centers.
Experimental research is conducted in different research centers and laboratories, being involved also alumni. Experimental research activities include national and international research projects and students’ projects as teaching task.


The most remarkable expansion has recently been evident in the area of renewable energies, electrical drives, the areas of communications, signal processing, computer vision and computer networks.

Directions of research of the Faculty are:

 

The scientific research is developed around Research Grants with the Romanian National University Research Council (NURC) and National Excellency Research Programms. The research results are made known by means of journals, or International and National Conferences Proceedings.
