A) Advanced Techniques for Process Control ( Director: Prof. Emil Ceanga, PhD, Eng., Executive Director: Prof. Viorel Minzu, Phd.,Eng. )
I. Fields of research defining the Research Centre are the automated systems and processes management includes two basic directions of research:
I.1 - Fundamental research, aimed at developing methodologies, algorithms and
procedures governing automatic, rigorously substantiated scientifically,
I.2 - Conducting
research on advanced automatic processes specific corresponding tradition
and experience accumulated by the research community, environmental and
economic needs in working Research Center.
II. Fields of
research on advanced automated management refers to:
II.1.Biotehnologies,
II.2.
Processes and fast conversion of energy, including electrical drives and
adjustable conversion of renewable energies (wind, in particular),
II.3.Manufacturing Systems with a focus on assembly systems.
Activities:
- Seminars on
topics of domains;
- Editing of research reports;
- Visiting Researcher, Assoc.Prof, from Madagascar with AUF scholarship on 6
months at the Research Center, doing activities in biotechnology management
processes (2008)
B) Informatized Electromechanical Systems (Director: Prof. Calueanu Dumitru, PhD, Eng., Executive Director: Prof. Toader Munteanu, Phd.,Eng. )
